meet Brittany

Hi! Welcome to The Goodman House. Whether you’ve been following along with me on Instagram or you just stumbled across this site, I’m so glad you are here. I am passionate about home and curating beautiful spaces. Here’s a little about me - I have been a math teacher for more than 16 years but have always loved design. I started The Goodman House account a few years ago as a creative outlet to share our home and how we are forever making it our own. I didn’t expect anything to come from it but it’s honestly changed my life. Through that community, I’ve had the privilege of connecting with so many people and have gotten so many incredible opportunities that have allowed me to explore this passion even further. Summer of 2024, I decided to take the leap and move to interior design full time. It’s bittersweet to leave teaching behind but I’m so excited to pursue another dream.

I’m honored to have the opportunity to help other people create authentic homes that are unique to them, beautiful, and functional. I believe everyone’s home should tell a story. I’d love to help you tell that story.
